That poor thing! What a shame.
At least the Fuchs are in good shape, haha

Looks like they put brand new Fuchs and tires just to help sell it. Amazing what wheels can do for a car.

Ah, that makes sense. Dumb me. I was wondering why the wheels and tires looked so clean. They must have recently put them on to sell the car.
They should put "4 Fuchs Given" in the ad, lol.

Yeah but what a great way to start your new Singer :)

I wonder if it comes with that "fresh swamp" air freshener. Nothing beats that new swamp smell in an old car.

What the fuck happened. Yes the rear bumper came off, but not everything else. Dammit Milton.

I think what probably happened is this:

Weird rust issues. It must have been stored in some really bad way. It's listed as '74 SC and those don't exist. It has a 911T engine so I guess it is actually '74 911T.
I don't care about the movies history but I would consider this with ~$5000 price.

So, there were two of these: a "stunt" car that had suffered fire damage and the normal one that lives on as a PCA racer somewhere up in Dallas—full cage, epic want and everything.
The cars from the movie were '82 911SCs, though, not '74s: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_16515-…
This doesn't smell right. I'd want to see EXTENSIVE documentation that it's the movie car, and even then—crack pipe. The timing with SXSW in town makes it even more suspect. Someone may want to pull a fast one on some tourists.

Yeah I think you're right, looks like a fraud.

It could be the burned out "stunt car" but you are probably right. Nice to know someone is driving the other one! Thanks for the informative link.
